About us
A small team. A long view.
Harvest Renewables was founded in 2024 to develop community solar projects the way we believe they should be developed — patiently, in partnership, and built to last.
How we work
Concentrated by design.
Harvest is small, focused, and concentrated by design. We develop community solar projects in four states — Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and New York — chosen because each has a meaningful community solar program, working paths to interconnection, and landowners and communities ready to partner.
Concentration is the point. A small footprint and a small team let us bring more attention to every site, every landowner conversation, and every county we operate in. We'd rather develop fewer projects well than many projects in a hurry.
What we believe
A few convictions that shape how we work.
Land is a long-term asset.
A 25-to-35-year project deserves a 25-to-35-year mindset. We make commitments we intend to keep.
Landowners deserve real partners.
Plain-language terms, independent review, no pressure. The agreement should still feel fair on the day it ends.
Communities are the project, too.
A solar project that doesn't work for the county hosting it isn't a project worth building.
Our partners
We work with operators who share our orientation.
Harvest is small by design, but the work of bringing a community solar project from idea to operation requires deep institutional capability. We've chosen partners who bring decades of experience and a genuine long-term commitment.
